DS 564 : Physics of Ile-de-France
The scientific focus of the Doctoral School of Physics of Ile-de-France (ED 564) covers:
- physics of fundamental interactions
- quantum physics of diluted and condensed matter
- statistical physics, physics of soft and biological matter
- fundamental aspects of optics, acoustics and hydrodynamics.
Its scientific focus is on fundamental, theoretical and experimental physics and their naturally resulting applications. Over 500 doctoral candidates are working on a PhD thesis at the Doctoral School of Physics of Ile-de-France, which hosts 40 laboratories in Central and Southern Paris and more than 800 thesis supervisors.
